* Clearer messages when a migration’s progress can’t be followed or its requests are redirected, explaining what was detected, the likely causes, and what to do next.

* When a single sign-on service or a firewall redirected the site’s background requests (admin-ajax.php), starting, cancelling, or loading a migration showed only “Failed to fetch”, and a failed Cancel reloaded the page without explanation.
